Ann Keil Dux is an MBA-empowered strategic communications executive who delivers in a fast-paced environment, with strong analytical skills, unmatched creativity, and an unwavering dedication to a high-quality work product. Drawing from her experience as a seasoned, Emmy® Award-winning journalist, Ann leverages her media insider expertise and strong relationships with diverse stakeholders to strengthen brands through owned, earned, and paid media, marketing campaigns, and public affairs initiatives. She is a trusted advisor to leadership who wins the confidence and commitment of others through advanced communications coaching rooted in the art of authentic voice and strategic storytelling. Ann’s innate passion extends to building more effective and engaged teams through key service areas: branding, public speaking, camera readiness, media training, virtual presentation, and video marketing.

While Ann’s professional experience spans multiple sectors, she most recently served as Communications & Media Relations Director for Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, part of the University of Miami Health System. She led measurable communications, marketing, and social media content strategy that helped earn Sylvester a U.S. News & World Report “Best Hospitals” ranking for the first time, thanks to a significant increase in its expert opinion score. In that role, Ann provided counsel to top executives and medical staff who saw more high-value opportunities for publicity that built brand equity among target audiences. Her experience as a skilled field producer, in close collaboration with a team of videographers, led to an Emmy® nomination for a compelling video marketing campaign on cancer survivorship.

Ann spent her early career as a television news reporter with a focus on politics and public safety, a fine-tuned specialization that began with her Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism from Boston University and Master’s Degree in Journalism and Public Affairs from American University in Washington, D.C. Throughout Ann’s television journalism career, she tackled numerous investigative stories centered around societal concerns — including health, consumer, immigration, and environmental policy — and won multiple awards that underscored the true quality and impact of her work. A Miami native, she returned home in 2015 to work for the then No. 1-rated local news station, WSVN-TV, where she received a second Emmy® Award and recognition for her breaking news coverage.

A United Way Miami ex-officio Board Member, Ann has long supported the non-profit sector through advocacy and volunteerism. She spent two years leading more than 600 young professionals as Co-Chair of United Way’s Young Leaders giving community. She is also a Member of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Miami Women Building Up Women. Ann has been recognized as one of the “Women of Style & Substance” by the South Florida Luxury Guide, one of several honors that celebrate her leadership and community service. She brings authentic energy into every room as a results-driven brand strategist and decisive problem solver — adding critical value as a communications expert, moderator, spokesperson, or panelist to documentary-style video productions and in-person and virtual educational programming.
